Check out the award-winning works of the INSAID AWARDS 2022 announced in Bratislava the last week-end.

It was a true pleasure to be part of the international jury alongside wonderful colleagues (Mauro Brigham from Ncbham, Miroslav Debnár, Štefan Polakovič, Michal Stašk, Sona Salnerova…) and to discover so many talented Slovak interior architects and designers.

30th Anniversary 1992 - 2022

ECIA is a European platform to represent and promote the qualified profession of interior architects/designers. Founded in 1992, ECIA currently represents 15 member-national organizations, with over 15000 professionals.

The last weekend in Florence, ECIA 2022 event, with the general assembly and round tables, celebrated its thirty years of evolution through the stories of ECIA’s founders and current leading figures in global interior architecture and design.

Participants included delegates from the Architects Council of Europe (ACE), International Federation of Interior Architects (IFI), as well as many national organizations and universities. Thanks to Associazione Italiana Professionisti Interior designers (AIPI) for hosting this exceptional event.

l BACK TO SCHOOL l

Perfect time to look back at one of our favourite projects delivered exactly 10 years ago by 4à4 through CONIX RDBM Architects : the renovation and extension of a former military academy into the 4th European School of Brussels.

Three sections had to be created - kindergarten, primary and secondary school, each with unique requirements, as well as common buildings such as libraries, cantina, and sports facilities.

Particular attention was given to the colour scheme - depending on the age section the quantity of colour present in the classroom or hallways varies.

sophiegreen delivered conception of colours and materials and contributed to construction drawings, ex*****on details, construction follow-up and building reception.

As interior architects, we believe that collaborating with architects allows to better complement each other’s expertise and encourages the exchange of ideas. If you’re interested in learning more about us and finding out how we collaborate with architects, feel free to get in touch.

Last week, the Goethe-Institut Brussels celebrated the inauguration of its new premises at rue Belliardstraat 58. The new location marks the return of the institute to its former – now fully renovated venue.

We enjoyed the event and are delighted to have been in charge of the project. Professional pictures will follow!
