Finding antiques ànd selling antiques; it's two times fun. But selling one of your items to a museum, is ofcourse a bit special. This Dutch-Delft Tulipe vase was sold now, sept.2025, to the Rundâle Palace Museum in Letvia. Well done Ruud ! 🙂

New found: An ornately carved, sturdy Louis XV-Rococo style fireplace surround, made out of Carrara marble. French, ca.1870. The moulded shelf rests over a panelled serpentine frieze, which is centered by a boldly carved Rococo shell cartouche. This is echoed on the endblocks, which are mounted above the canted console jambs. Soon cleaned in my workshop and present at my website.
