Laura Calleeuw x Dauby
In this countryside home in Westkapelle, Belgium, interior architect Laura Calleeuw Interieurarchitect explores what it means to design a space that feels as though it has always been there.
Her approach starts from what already exists: the landscape, the proportions, the circulation. Natural materials, earthy tones and subtle textures shape an interior that feels warm, serene and quietly confident. Where new architecture blends seamlessly into its surroundings.
That same sensitivity carries through to the smallest details. In the kitchen, Laura integrated handcrafted furniture fittings by Dauby selecting a timeless piece in Raw Bronze whose natural imperfections and tactile quality complement the character of the space. A detail that doesn’t seek attention, yet anchors the whole.
