Last week, our senior designer Nele joined BerryAlloc's designer Caroline for a visit to 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen. 🎨

From flowing fabrics and tactile textures to rich earth tones and playful colour accents, one thing was clear. Interiors are becoming warmer, more layered and more expressive. 💡

We spotted a growing focus on immersive spaces, where light, shadow and texture work together to create a sense of comfort and wellbeing. Hard materials such as steel, marble and travertine are being softened with drapery, woven details and handcrafted elements, while colours like blush pink, butter yellow, moss green and soft blue are bringing personality back into interiors. ✨

A lot of inspiration, fresh ideas and food for thought from Copenhagen. 💭

Learning through play.

As part of our Safety Day, we challenged colleagues with an interactive sustainability quiz focused on our journey towards 2030. 🌍

The highlight? A custom-designed game board printed directly onto a Beauflor floor. By stepping through different sustainability topics, participants learned more about recycling, renewable energy, CO₂ reduction and circularity in a fun and engaging way. 🎲

This project perfectly demonstrates the possibilities of Beauflor CREATE, our digital printing solution that turns floors into unique communication and experience tools. 💥

Putting safety into practice

During our annual Safety Day, colleagues stepped away from their daily routines to focus on four essential topics that help create a safer, healthier and more sustainable workplace.

❤️ First aid – learning how to respond when every second counts with Alert opleiding en coaching.
🔥 Fire safety – understanding fire risks and practising how to extinguish fires safely with Group.
🪑 Ergonomics – discovering how small adjustments can make a big difference to wellbeing at work with Springbok coaching.
🌍 Sustainability – testing our knowledge through an interactive sustainability quiz.

Through hands-on exercises, expert guidance and engaging discussions, we strengthened not only our knowledge, but also our shared responsibility for keeping ourselves and each other safe.
