i’ve been trying since august to make a video about my miscarriage and everytime i start, i either get emotional & cry or sidetracked by all the different ways i could approach the situation. i could talk about the amount of conflicting emotions and thoughts i had when i found out i was pregnant as a person who doesnt want kids. i could talk about the anger involved with the way my obgyn office handled the miscarriage. i could educate younger women on what to look for in an obgyn office past just getting the yearly pap smear. i could make a video being thankful i live in new jersey and had access to this kind of healthcare. i could talk about how i hate the silence surrounding miscarriages that perpetuates such shame for the people that experience them. i could talk about how my due date is coming up and all the emotions are coming back up and im crying both for a baby i never wanted and a baby i lost.
