Architecture begins long before the selection of materials. The site, the landscape, and the way the residents wish to live are fundamental factors in shaping every design decision.

At Casa Serra Azul, in Itupeva, the building’s placement follows the characteristics of the terrain, respecting the slope and establishing a close connection with the outdoors. The single-story layout also fosters a living experience designed to suit various stages of life.

The integration of social spaces, the gourmet veranda, and the swimming pool expands the home’s potential uses, while natural light and ventilation enhance everyday comfort.

An architecture that considers the present while keeping an eye on the future.

A arquitetura e os interiores estão em constante diálogo com a maneira como vivemos, e compartilhar esse olhar também faz parte do nosso trabalho.

Um outro olhar para a área da piscina.

Vista de cima, a composição revela com mais clareza a relação entre a água, o piso, a borda branca e o muro revestido em pedra portuguesa.

A área externa passou por uma transformação completa e ganhou materiais que trouxeram mais luminosidade e movimento para o espaço.

Um espaço pensado para os dias de calor e, principalmente, para ser vivido pela família.

Banheiro claro, bem iluminado e prático para a rotina dos nossos clientes.

Nesta casa, os banheiros seguem a mesma linguagem leve dos demais ambientes, com predominância do branco e materiais de fácil manutenção.

O porcelanato aparece no piso e nas paredes do box, enquanto as bancadas em quartzo acompanham a proposta clara e funcional.

A iluminação natural, presente nos ambientes que contam com janelas, também contribui para essa sensação de leveza.

In this home, the bathrooms share the same airy aesthetic found in the other rooms, featuring a predominance of white and low-maintenance materials.
Porcelain tile covers the floor and shower walls, while quartz countertops complement the bright, functional design.
Natural light, present in rooms with windows, further enhances this sense of airiness.

Conexão entre o primeiro e o último piso, a escada traz, de novo, a madeira de demolição, que a ajuda a contar a história desta casa.

O material aparece em meio à base clara dos ambientes e cria um contraste que acompanha o percurso entre os pavimentos.

Connecting the first and top floors, the staircase once again features reclaimed wood, helping to tell the story of the house.

Uma porta que muda a relação entre dois ambientes.

Entre a cozinha e a sala de jantar, as duas folhas de correr se abrem para permitir a integração entre a cozinha e a área social.

No dia a dia, os moradores podem preparar as refeições mantendo a conexão com a sala e com a área externa, ou fechar a passagem quando quiserem.

A door that transforms the relationship between two spaces.
Positioned between the kitchen and the dining room, the two sliding panels open to integrate the kitchen with the social area.
In their daily routine, the residents can prepare meals while maintaining a connection to the living area and the outdoors, or close off the opening whenever they wish.

Um cantinho gostoso para as refeições do dia a dia.

Nesta copa, integrada à cozinha, projetamos uma nova janela em busca de trazer mais luminosidade.

Junto à mesa, de um lado temos cadeiras e, do outro, um banco: tudo para otimizar área e liberando espaço de circulação.

A cozy spot for everyday meals. In this breakfast nook—integrated with the kitchen—we designed a new window to bring in more natural light. We placed chairs on one side of the table and a bench on the other, an arrangement that optimizes the area and frees up circulation space.

Uma cozinha que aproveita a luz natural e se conecta com o restante da casa.

Os grandes vãos, em janelas e portas, permitem a entrada do sol durante boa parte do dia e ajudam a manter o ambiente claro e, sobretudo, saudável.

A bancada de quartzo branco e a marcenaria planejada acompanham essa proposta, enquanto a escolha de tons claros deixa a cozinha visualmente leve.

Entre a cozinha e a sala de jantar, a porta de correr permite abrir ou fechar os ambientes conforme a necessidade da casa. Assim, a cozinha pode estar integrada à área social ou funcionar de maneira mais reservada quando for preciso.

A kitchen that makes the most of natural light and connects with the rest of the home.
Large window and door openings allow sunlight to stream in for much of the day, keeping the space bright and—above all—healthy.

The white quartz countertop and custom cabinetry complement this design approach, while the choice of light tones gives the kitchen an airy, open feel.

A sliding door between the kitchen and dining room allows the spaces to be opened up or closed off depending on the household’s needs; this enables the kitchen to integrate with the social area or operate more privately when required.

Aqui, uma base clara recebe o papel de parede floral, que traz delicadeza e define a paleta do ambiente. A marcenaria acompanha a parede e ajuda a organizar tudo o que precisa estar por perto na rotina com o bebê.

Crib placement, traffic flow, surface areas, and storage are some of the points I consider right from the start of the project.

Here, a light-colored backdrop complements the floral wallpaper, which adds a delicate touch and defines the room’s color palette. The custom cabinetry follows the line of the wall and helps organize everything needed close at hand for the baby’s daily routine.

A área externa ganhou uma nova vida com o nosso projeto de reforma.

Quando a família adquiriu esta casa, a piscina era pequena, fazia parte de um espaço escuro e pouco convidativo.

Na reforma, a pedra portuguesa valorizou o ambiente e suavizou o muro, trazendo textura e movimento. A borda branca da piscina, de mármore apicoado, forma um contraste delicado com a água, enquanto o piso antiderrapante garante segurança para o uso de todos.

A nova composição deixou a piscina mais clara, agradável e integrada à rotina da família.

The outdoor area was revitalized by our renovation project.

When the family purchased the house, the pool was small and part of a dark, uninviting space.

During the renovation, Portuguese stone enhanced the setting and softened the wall, adding texture and movement. The white pool coping—made of bush-hammered marble—creates a delicate contrast with the water, while the non-slip decking ensures safety for everyone.

The new layout made the pool area brighter, more pleasant, and better integrated into the family’s daily life.
