On Sunday we celebrated another graduation in Belmopan at the Arbol de Vida Ministry where 6 ladies and one gentleman did the First and Second Level, 3 in First Level and 3 in Second Level.
This program lasted for 10 months where almost the whole group traveled from San Ignacio to be at the church in Las Flores for their 8am class.
We admire the grandmothers who took the classes but one of them brought her 2 granddaughters of ages between 12-15. Both girls did the 1st and 2nd Levels while still attending school and church.
This group has shown great enthusiasm and energy because their classes lasted until 4pm or later afterwards took the bus back to San Ignacio, Cayo.
We are sure that this group will capitalize on this training because they invested time and finances to finish the course.
Special gratitude goes to the dedicated instructor, Jacqueline Lopez who taught them well. Also a big Thank You to the Pastor Jose Alfredo Jaime and his beautiful wife Pastora Ana Ruth Jaime.

Pedro and I of Christian Sewing Partners of Belize/ The Word at Work were privilege on Monday night to welcome and encourage 12 ladies in two clases about the opportunities of sewing items for the local and Tourism market. We are excited with this group that are anxious to learn to become professional seamstresses and entreprenuers. We congratulate each of the ladies for deciding to use their talent and increase their opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in the trade.
We thank Wendy Robles for her leadership and for sharing her talent with others. Wendy was the instructor of our first program we started in 2009.

We thank our donors for continued support for our programs in Belize and for providing us with machines, material, etc. , for the Sewing program.

We prayed for the participants for wisdom and knowledge and for the persistence of completing their program. Attitude, choice, dedicación, discipline, excellence, quality, perseverance, are few factors needed for success. We also hoped to develop in them a growth mindset that makes one want to do extraordinary things.

We are happy to share these classes from the Arbol de Vida church in Belmopan. It is a big class with women from a church in San Ignacio. They all travel early dawn to reach on time for their 8am class. Their class lasts until 4pm.
These ladies are from one congregation in which one of them is their Pastor. We admire their firm desire to learn 🙌
Their is one gentleman amongst them and keeping up with everything that is taught. Their instructor is Jacqueline Lopez, a lady with a big heart ❤️

The Directors of Kichpan Kananten Women's Group gave me a beautiful Gift of Appreciation. I was touched by the words of this verse because even though I am not a professional sewer, I do get together and pack all the materials that are sent to the groups through Christian Sewing Partners of Belize.
I promised Mrs. Olivia Pat that I would hang it on my sewing room door.
