I have a TO-DO list as long as the Great Wall of China and I don’t know where to start. People always tell me “I don’t know how you run a business with 3 small kids”. And the truth is, I don’t know how I do it either. It’s a struggle every day. Sometimes I fall short. I’m not perfect. I don’t have it all figured out. I just take it one day at a time and do the very best I can in all the separate corners of my life and hope that people understand. One day I hope to have a better system in place 😂. But until then, if you’re reading this and your life is just as chaotic and unorganized, then you are not alone my friend.

I’m alive!!!!

Today I woke up feeling grateful. Grateful for the roof over my head, a warm bed to sleep in, healthy food to keep me nourished, family and friends that truly care about me, and much much more. These past couple of weeks have been really hard on my body and my mental health, but here I am on the other side of it and reminded how fortunate I am.

Now, finally, back to reality 🙌🤗

This week I will be focusing mainly on my current clients and getting caught up on everything I’ve fallen so far behind on, and then I’ll be working on some content for my new website, eek!!! Vertical blinds FTW. Did you ever think you would see these again? I didn’t. Until these clients specifically wanted them to be able to control the light that comes into the room. So we found the perfect fabric lined vanes (yes- fabric lined) and it ended up being the most perfect fit. And so pretty 😍

Headed into another busy week of consultations and installations! Reminding myself how fortunate I am to have the constant support of friends, family and my incredible clients (no really, I have the BEST clients). I realize it’s been a tough year for many, but the past few weeks have felt different for me. I don’t know if it’s the warm weather or the restrictions being lifted, but I feel a sense of relief. Thank you for standing by this little blind company, amongst many other small businesses that relied on your support during these times 🙌❤️

I remember walking into this house for the first time and feeling SO GIDDY over those big beautiful windows. I mean, come on! Stunning! These clients were so easy-going and totally trusted in my recommendations. It was a dream job.

After a busy weekend installing blinds with my husband , it’s only fitting that I dedicate this long overdue post to the beautiful and joyful for the constant love and support and business she has sent my way this past year. Some of you are probably wondering if she’s as wonderful in person as she is on Instagram. Well....she totally is! This girl just absolutely radiates love and light and kindness, and the world is truly a better place with people like her in it. Cheers, Jess!
