Meet the Maker:
With so many fresh and friendly faces around here I thought I’d introduce myself. I’m Kim & I’m all things .
Creating these pieces for y’all is my happy place. The vibrant colours, hot wax & lovely aromas have the same calming effect as burning the candles themselves. I carefully curate these vintage pieces from all over Alberta. I collect them from antique stores, online vintage shops, second hand stores, Marketplace & first hand from some of the cutest ‘lil Grannies. But my fav is when my friends & customers send me photos/links to items they think would work! *hint *hint!
There’s something melancholy about removing years of dust from a once adorned piece of glass and giving it a new light. There’s hundreds them hiding in your granny’s China cabinet. Go visit her, have some tea and chat with her about them. They have stories. Maybe you’ll inherit a few. Then you could bring them to me & I can custom fill them just for you.
This little shop is my hobby shop - although I love making me some candles, I also make beer. You heard it - BEER.
I am a Brewmaster student & I work at a local brewery as a brewer. So, one could say that I do all of this for beer money - literally! Purchasing these candles helps to support grade A beer education 🍻
