“Rug hooking is more than a way to pass the time. It is a way to enrich a life. It is a way to build connection with yourself, with others, within your own family. I meet so many women who are teaching their grandchildren. So many mothers and daughters come to the studio together. And deepening our ties to each other makes us appreciate each other more.”

DFS Teachers Course Everything starts with a story, especially when it comes to rug hooking. And there are so many stories still waiting to be told. Yours might be one of them. Here is my story... One thing I keep thinking is, "Who will teach rug hooking the way I do, when I am no longer teaching?"....

“And moonlight all aglow. So high up there that we all share the light it sheds upon us. The moon makes the night less fearsome. It is a lamp on our little lonely souls. A round heart of comfort.”
