✨ Vintage find turned statement piece ✨
When I came across this vintage MCM tabletop organizer, I knew I had to have it 🤎 The woman who sold me this piece had it listed as a vintage vinyl record holder, but I immediately saw so much more potential for it. It was in great shape overall—just a bit of veneer damage that was easily repaired with some glue and wood filler.
I stripped the original shellac finish, gave it a light sand, and brought it back to life with a walnut-toned finishing oil. Then I painted the door front and top in a rich chocolate shade for a warm, modern contrast.
Although it was listed to store vinyl records, I reimagined it for the kitchen—perfect for storing cutting boards, cookbooks and everyday essentials in the small cupboard.
