Reflections Of You Interior Decorator Consultant I'm an interior decorator consultant, do-it-yourselfer and upcycler.

I was always a creative person and realized during my teaching career in Visual Arts that I wanted to pursue my passion in Interior Decorating/Design. My education experience in Interior Decorating/ Design in 2002 led me to become sole proprietor of "Reflections Of You". I have only advertised by word of mouth and it quickly became a part time job for me. My goal is to help homeowners create space

I bring affordable style to your homes and insight to reassure that what you are doing will work in your home and the confidence to move forward. This decorating journey over the years has taken me to pursue my love of upcycling furniture, repurposing found objects and creating new things for clients. As my passion and love of upcycling grew I decided not only to repurpose itmes for clients but to repurpose items that I have found and sell as my treasures. My motto is " One man's junk is another man's treasure"

This piece has a story that makes it even more beautiful. My client’s father built this coffee table when he was in Grade 10, and it became the family’s living room table for years. Eventually, it was passed down to my client, who used it as a TV stand before it found its way into storage.

Now, after years tucked away, this beauty has a new life in her family room — right where she wanted it, surrounded by family.✨

I’m happy to announce this one-of-a-kind chair has found its new home. ❤️

When I refinished and upholstered it, I went back and forth between two fabric choices. I even bought both. My gut kept pulling me toward this bold, playful pattern, but that little voice in my head kept saying, “ Play it safe, it will sell fast”

I’m so glad I listened to my gut instead.

What I’ve learned is this: trust your instincts. The right person will always come along for that unique piece—the one that speaks to them because it came from a creative mind that wasn’t afraid to take a chance.

Sometimes the pieces that make us hesitate are the very ones someone else has been waiting for.
