We have two fall door leaners available in Dark Walnut.

5 foot: $50 (pictured on the right)
4 foot: $40 (pictured on the left)

All our door leaners are a minimum true 1" thick. We custom cut all our material and do not use material less than 1" as we find they warm more over time than material that is at least 1" thick.

Grill scrapers just in time for Fathers Day.
Every griller needs a good scraper and our hardwood scrapers got you covered, complete with a bottle opener on the back, leather hanger, multiple coats of Tung Oil and no additional cost for personalized designs. Just $35.

Need something a bit more budget friendly our cedar scrapers are just $20 (no bottle opener)

All scrapers measure 18" long
Our premium scrapers with the stainless bottle opener are available in Ash, Cherry or Western red cedar
Pick from over 20 different graphics

Why hardwood
Ash and Cherry are hardwoods, all of which were harvested along the Nith River in Ayr. They offer a more durable longer lasting scraper, are less susceptible to catching fire under high heat cleans and can also serve as a decorative piece around an outdoor kitchen, bar or kitchen.

We do offer a Western Red cedar in our primum option with a bottle opener, while not a hardwood it is denser than our regular cedar scrapers, won't last as long as the hardwood but longer than the regular cedar.

Today's post is a throwback to the summer of 2021 where we built this custom serving tray that sits overtop of a fire pit.

At 30" in diameter it's still manageable to carry but be mindful of door frames. Made from weather resistant white oak with a giant Celtic knot painted in the middle, black handles, a drip edge on the bottom and adjustable retaining guides on the bottom to keep it in place on top of the fire bowl (when the fire bowl is not is use).

It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally up and running. My custom made dehumidification kiln “IB DRY” has now been running for 24 hrs. The first batch of lumber should make an appearance in late May.

As the seasons change and we begin to think about summer on the lake today's Custom Monday is all about the Cottage.

The first and largest of the 2 signs may look familiar as this is a modification of our large format family sign. Instead of it saying family it says cottage. The sign measures 24 x 16.5" finished in a dark walnut stain and sealed for outdoor use.

The second measures in at 24 x 10" and is easily adapted to other sizes and formats. This particular signed is finished in white on grey and has become a very popular color combination.

If one of these designs catches your eye or you have an idea you would like use to work with for your cottage msg us and we would be happy to help.
