The day has FINALLY come… I mastered the dry time ✨

This print turned out exactly how I pictured it. No smudges, no blurry image, no rolling too early. Just clean, crisp texture.

The real MVP? This new clay roller with the most beautiful mountain scene. The detail it picked up is unreal.

To anyone else who’s ruined 47 prints learning dry time — I see you. It gets better, I promise.

Materials used:
Gelli Arts plate
Liquitex, Mont Marte, Artist Loft paint
Plain printer paper
3D printed clay roller

First time trying collage and I’ll be honest… I felt lost most of the time.

With gel printing I know what to expect now, but flipping through a pile of magazine pages? My brain froze. Too many choices. Nothing looked “right.” I almost quit halfway through.

But I kept going. Kept flipping until I found the right bits. And you know what? I don’t hate it.

It’s not perfect. It’s not what I pictured. But it’s mine. And starting something new is always the hardest part.

Now I’m torn… do I keep practicing collage, or is this a one-and-done experiment?

Be real with me — should I make more collages? Yes or no in the comments 👇 I need the peer pressure either way 😅

Learning moment 👇

For today’s play my first layer of paint wasn’t dry enough… so my clay roller pattern barely showed up.

Paused, grabbed my cool hair dryer, and gave it another blast.

Such a huge difference when that base layer is almost completely dry! The roller picks up every detail.

Almost figured out the timing on these, but every “oops” teaches me something new.

What technique are you still dialing in? Let’s learn together 👇

This memory binder spread uses the brand new Rest & Relaxation collection from Annette Green, just released today 🎉

Memory keeping doesn’t have to be complicated to feel special. Just the right papers + the moments that matter.

Me vs drying time: I finally won 😅

Tried this clay roller again today and did the one thing right I always do wrong...

I actually waited for the first layer to dry long enough.

The difference is wild — crisp details, all the texture I wanted from the roller.

Why did it take me so long to learn this?? 😂

Have you ever had a “duh” art moment like this?

Sneak peek time! 💕 This is my first Everyday Memories project using Annette’s new Rest & Relaxation collection... and I...

Another day, another clay roller I “needed” 😅

Couldn’t resist trying this new one and got this gorgeous pink print. Layered bronze metallic for the pick up... the contrast didn’t pop like I hoped, but the texture is 10/10.

Sometimes the “wrong” color combo still wins. Agree?

I reversed the colors 🎨

Took a viewer suggestion today and flipped the palette for my gelli print... then ended up with a surprise paint print on my hand from rolling the clay roller 😂

So... which one looks better? New or old? 👇
