I’m nearly done posting the 20+ cards I made back in July!
The tag, I’m pretty sure, was cut from Simply Stated Design paper and then I inked through a stencil but didn’t quite like the outcome. So the tag sat on the desk until I came up with something to make it better.
I ended up perusing my SSD ephemera stash and layered elements together to cover most of the tag. I did some heat embossing on the little banner, adhered some embellishments. I ripped the hole of the tag trying to feed the ribbon through so I tied it into a bow and glued it on top.
This would probably make a good graduation card.

The same but different:
I have a small bag of small chipboard tags in my stash. While I’m not sure what inspired me to buy them I figured I may as well use some up in different ways.
The tag on the first card was created by adhering a small piece of adhesive sheet to it and trimming it to fit, and then placing patterned paper on top and trimming that. Not my fave.
The next tag I used the adhesive sheet again but this time covered the tag with gilding flakes. It was quicker than the patterned paper, plus it’s shiny.
Both cards have the tiny sentiment from Gummiapan, some embellishments, mini punched trees, bakers twine, and are CAS (clean and simple).

I feel like this card has so much happy and love. I used a triple heart punch to punch hearts from pink and red card stock.
Then I die cut some greenery and tiny flowers. I dig out my mini envelope dies and cut one from double-sided patterned paper.
I used a heart embossing folder on the white mat.
After adhering the envelope to the mat I filled the envelope with all the little elements, and had some of them coming out into the open space. I added a few rhinestones because sparkle is always nice.
I sent it out to my niece and included a coffee gift card 💜

A break from Christmas cards!
The solid tag was already cut out, having been rejected for use on another card.
I perused my Simply Stated Design stash and discovered ephemera that would go well with the tag. I chose a tag to layer on top and decided the sweet sentiment would give any recipient the warm fuzzies.
I finished it off with some natural twine.
Even going to the store to choose a card isn’t this easy!

This is the last of the Christmas colour challenge and then there will be a variety of cards coming along.Green and gold...

This is the last of the Christmas colour challenge and then there will be a variety of cards coming along.
Green and gold is a great colour combination! I used an old SU! stamp set and punch for the Christmas tree and adhered it to a piece of white card stock. I included a ribbon and gold embossed sentiment.
The white card stock provides a great place for the elements to be focused on against a fun background.

This fancy reindeer looks even fancier die cut from a paper with metallic shine. I chose a deep red background to go with a cream mat, as it reminds me of one of the colour schemes I have for my Christmas tree.
I used an embossing folder frame for the mat, a pre-made sentiment, and added some rhinestone embellishments.

Purple and gold were the colours I chose for a previous colour challenge.
The tree and houses are by Gummiapan.
I found some gold waffle paper (tissue kind of paper) in my scrap bin and knew it would work well for the windows. It was tedious but I love how it turned out.
I kept the gold going by adding gold embellishments to the tree. The sentiment is a pre-made chipboard piece, easy to adhere.
This is one of my fave Christmas cards so far.

As I scrolled my camera roll for the next group of cards, I realized the previous post and this one is from a set I made for a Christmas colour challenge.
White and silver was the first one, and using copper or another metallic was another.
So this card was made with Lavinia snowflake stamps and copper embossing. It also meets CAS (clean and simple) standards, with a lot of blank space.

More Christmas cards incoming!
I used a falling-apart sparkly gift bag for the die cut snowflake and the mat. I stamped the sentiment in black ink but I do wonder if silver embossing would have looked better.
In any case, it’s a quick and easy card, and also: glitter.

I’ve been cleaning and re-organizing some areas of my work space the past couple days, and it’s been good to toss some things and pass on other items.
This card was made with some snowflakes I found lounging at the bottom of a bin. Quite simply, I poked two snowflakes and the mat with a brad to keep it all together. Then I adhered the piece to the larger mat and heat embossed a sentiment in gold.
