GOOD TO KNOW FESTIVAL INFO ℹ️

It doesn't matter if you've been coming since the beginning or if 2025 is your first Applefest; there are some things that are good to know before you go!

Please note that the following activities are not permitted at Applefest:
🚭 smoking or va**ng,
🐶 pets (Service animals are allowed with proper paperwork as per By-Law #036-2024. Please visit our website for more information➡️ https://www.brighton.ca/en/discover-brighton/concert.aspx),
🍺 outside alcohol,
🚲 bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, hoverboards,
🤑 peddling or soliciting and,
🕹️ flying of drones

Lost and Found ❗
Please turn in any lost items to event organizers or volunteers who will be wearing reflective vests and nametags. If you have lost an item, please visit the Festival Information Tents located at each of the festival locations (Street Fair, Car Show and Children's Village) under the Municipality of Brighton branded tent.

Washrooms 🚽
Washrooms and accessible washrooms are available at locations across the festival. For further details, please check out the event map on our website ➡️ https://www.brighton.ca/en/discover-brighton/events-listing.aspx

Parking 🅿️
If you're parking downtown, please ensure you are parking in designated parking zones and are not blocking access to roadways, driveways, or sidewalks. This will ensure emergency vehicles are able to access these areas in the event of an emergency.
Additional parking is available, with FREE shuttle buses to transport you to festival events.

Shuttle Busses 🚍
FREE shuttle busses are available on SATURDAY ONLY from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Busses will be servicing parking lots and also be providing hop-on/hop-off services to events downtown. Please visit our website for a full list of stops ➡️ https://www.brighton.ca/en/discover-brighton/concert.aspx
Accessible shuttle busses will also be servicing parking lots and event areas, and can also provide rides by request. Please contact Quinte Transit at 613 899 8287.

First Aid 🚑
Medical assistance is available at the following locations:
📍 Street Fair, corner of Main Street and Kingsley Avenue (south-west corner of Memorial Park)
📍 Children’s Village, 75 Elizabeth Street
Brighton Fire & Rescue will also be operating a mobile First Aid UTV across all three locations.

Security 🚓
Members of the OPP, Commissionaires, and Municipal By-Law Staff will be on-site.

In Case of Emergency... 🚨
Please call 9-1-1 and provide your location:
📍 Car Show - 24 Elizabeth Street
📍 Children’s Village - 75 Elizabeth Street
📍 Street Fair - Main Street, please provide the closest civic address
