Perfect for little hands, fidgety fingers, stocking stuffers, or even us grown-ups who just can’t resist giving them a squeeze! 😂

⚠️ Fair warning: You may come in to buy one for the kids and leave with three for yourself. We won’t judge! 😉

🕯️ Something smells AMAZING at The Bentley Mercantile! 💜

Our Crossroads Original Designs candles have been restocked, and the store is smelling pretty fabulous right now!

Whether you love a cozy, comforting scent or something fresh and inviting, there’s nothing quite like a beautiful candle to make a house feel like home. 🏡

And between you and me… we may have received a few winter and Christmas scents too. 🤫🎄

But those little beauties will have to wait until next weekend when Christmas officially starts making its way into the Mercantile!

💜 WE’RE HIRING! 💜

Come join our little Mercantile family!

The Bentley Mercantile is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and dependable person to join our close-knit team!

We’re hiring for a temporary, part-time Retail Sales Associate to cover an upcoming leave, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right person! 💜

Ideally, we’d love to have someone start in mid-October so there’s plenty of time for training before the end of November.

Here’s what you need to know:

* 💜 15–25 hours per week
* 💜 Starting wage of $17/hour
* 💜 Availability required Monday through Saturday, 10am–5pm, including approximately two Saturdays per month
* 💜 Temporary position expected to continue until at least the end of February
* 💜 Previous retail experience is required
* 💜 Canada Post training provided
* 💜 Potential for permanent employment

Now, here’s what really matters to us!

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people! Someone who loves a good conversation, takes pride in helping customers and understands that great customer service is about making people feel welcome.

Our little store has a bit of everything, and so do our days!

One minute you might be helping someone find the perfect gift, the next you’re creating a display, steaming clothing, unpacking new arrivals, cleaning or helping at our Canada Post counter.

We’re a team, and everyone pitches in!

You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, willing to learn new things and happy to tackle the little jobs that keep our store looking its best.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to be part of what we’re building here in Bentley.
