Krooked House has been part of our little shop for years, and we absolutely love getting to fill our card racks with artwork created right here in Nova Scotia💙💙💙

Gilakas’la (Thank You) is the work of Kwakwaka’wakw artist Adam Lewis of Cape Mudge Village, BC.

The bee is Adam’s way of honouring and giving thanks to the tiny pollinators that do such incredibly important work nourishing us and our world. 🌼🐝

Adam’s contemporary Northwest Coast formline artwork is deeply connected to his ancestry and cultural heritage — and we absolutely LOVE seeing it on this bright, happy yellow mug.

Beautiful art with a beautiful meaning. 💛

We’re on the hunt for a local photographer/maker creating beautiful photo greeting cards — specifically someone with a great collection of images from right here in the Annapolis Valley and surrounding area.

We’d LOVE to find cards featuring some of the places that feel like home to us — The Lookoff, Blomidon, Black Rock, Harbourville, Scots Bay, the Morden Cross, Evangeline/Grand Pre and all those little corners of the Valley that locals recognize instantly. ❤️

We actually connected with an incredibly talented photographer last year whose work would have been absolutely perfect… and somehow managed to lose his contact information. 🤦‍♀️ So if that was YOU — please, please get in touch!
