What a fitting way to say Goodbye to 2025. Quietly, still & somehow peaceful in this 10 second moment after a tough personal year & a rough Holiday season. (& yes that’s another tree down in between the barn & studio🤦🏼‍♀️)
For those that popped up in my DM’s asking how I was or who have been following our journey, my Father passed away a few days ago. It wasn’t quiet, peaceful or still. It was chaotic, messy & heartbreaking.
Something that has played over a million times in my mind in a few short days. There has been no sleep but the only comfort I can find is I know my Mother was there to greet him & welcome him home 🤍

Christmas day he sat here & couldn’t get over that we had snow & how pretty everything looked, he kept saying “It’s beautiful”🤍 It really is. I love it here & everything feels so magical. COLD but perfect. I love that I get to share it for a few short months of the year with you.

My message to you 1st is Thank you. Thank you for allowing me to take the time off this year but showed up for the shop when we opened briefly in November. My head could not focus on the business & I was so scared that people would not show up since in this day we are spoiled for choice. But you did & my heart was full.
2nd Hug & cherish your loved ones. No matter how difficult they can be or how frustrating it seems if it’s not the easiest relationship.
3rd may 2026 bring beautiful blessings & happiness to you all. This is more than just a decor shop, its a community that I cherish. Some of your visits & conversations are some of my favourite life moments 🤍

Thats a wrap on the shortest Bella Fleur Season 🤍 With this year being so consuming for me, opening the shop for a few short weeks was exactly what my soul needed. Thank you! Thank you for clearing out some of the barn so I can make way for new, Thank you for the messages, visits & as always, Thank you for your continued support of this little barn shop.

I always get asked why I close in the winter - it’s messy, COLD & not a fun drive so my sweet barn gets a little break.

2026 we have some projects we are starting around here🤍 & I will be sharing some progress pics. The shop will be back part time late Spring so stay tuned for updates.

Till then we wish you the most magical & love filled holiday season.

I’ve just posted this beautiful rustic console table in my stories, but thought I would make a post so it wouldn’t disappear in 24 hours.
This gorgeous piece is up for grabs for $900 as is. It retails for $2250 BUT I have seen online for over $3300 🤯

Perfect piece to mix into any style. Love the fact it has 3 drawers for storage.

Sunday! Although the shop is pretty naked (so grateful!!) I do have a few things left & I will be in the barn today from 11-3 since I have a few Pick Ups happening so if you are around & want to pop in to see if there is anything or to just say Hi, I will be here ☺️

I will be closed after today & then hopefully be back late Spring in some capacity. I have some plans for this sweet shop & space plus some new avenues for Bella Fleur so stay tuned to 2026!

Thank you to each of you that has liked, commented, shopped, supported, offered advice about caring for an elderly parent & for being the best community ever for a VERY small shop. I am so thankful!
& I LOVE my totes! These have been a staple in the store forever & make the best shopping & gift bags!

I have no words and I can’t even share a pretty decor picture because the shop is turned upside down, but in the best way possible 🤍
I’m a little overwhelmed at the amount of love and support I felt today & I truly appreciate every single one of you & that you were patient with our wonky Internet.

I think it was the universe’s way of saying “hey you’ve taken too much time off so we’re going to make you really work for it today “ 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve loved seeing each and every one of you & I’m sorry I wasn’t really able to catch up the way that I wanted to since I was so busy 🤍

The common question was am my closing up for good and the short answer is No, I just need to be on pause until late spring and then we will figure out what capacity the shop will come back at. I am just clearing out old to make way for new:) I love this little space too much to give it up completely so stay tuned for that but in the meantime, I will do this all again tomorrow from 10 until 3. The shop still has some great pieces up for grabs, but if there’s something in particular, you were hoping for, please feel free to message me and I hope I can get back to you as I don’t want you to make an unnecessary trip!
& my tech guru will be home shortly from school for the weekend and he will master my Internet issue !!

Scrolling past Christmas pics from the barn & stopped at this lovely scene. I will always be a big fan of a still pic over reels & video. I miss the days when it was just a collection of pretty pictures. I feel insta is basically a tic tok now & this old school gal misses the beauty of when it was just about capturing a moment 🤍🎄I love when those pop up in my feed 🤍
My sweet barn needs some TLC next spring since I really avoided going in this year & while it definitely doesn’t have the vibes of past Christmas seasons, she still has a magic about her 🤍 even with no big flocked 9ft tree front & centre.

I’ve had messages asking if I will be open other weekends and at this point I think I will know better after Sunday so stay tuned.

The whole shop is on sale, I have past Christmas goods, some display pieces, old Bella Fleur finds from seasons long ago, some pre loved items, a few antiques, some small furniture and mirrors & a couple pieces of art up for grabs. 50-90% off

Everything is final sale and I will take all forms of payment. I just asked if you have small reusable bags if you would bring them since we only have large and extra large left from last year.

Long overdue SHOP UPDATE & BARN SALE! 50-90% off EVERYTHING!!

This past year has been a non stop rollercoaster for my family & the shop was the furthest thing from my mind. We had & still have so much going on all at once (anyone caring for an elderly parent I see you 🤍) that it has left no time or energy for me to be in my once upon a time “Happy Place”.

I took a HUGE much needed break from socials. It didn’t provide joy & became too stressful to manage while I cared for my father. Mix in the MONTHS long April storm clean up (our roof finally got fixed in August!) & the tariffs earlier on - so not helpful with lines I carried since 2015, that it just wasn’t ideal for a little one woman store.

I know many of you have reached out asking about shop open dates or to check in - Thank You so much & although late, I will get back to each of you 🤍.

2025 was a bust for the business & family came 1st BUT I do have some past Xmas goods, year round decor, art,mirrors, small furniture, a few antiques, display pieces & pre loved items from retired collections that I will be selling off Friday Nov 21st 12-4, Saturday Nov 22nd 10-3 & Sunday Nov 23rd 11-3. Extra weekends may be added! 50-90% off EVERYTHING!!

*All Sales Final* Please bring a reusable bag if you can.

Christmas in the shop was always so magical & I’ve missed my sweet lil barn so much so to get back in there in some capacity is bringing in all the feels. I love my space so much🤍

I thought I would send a little update since I’ve been getting some messages about reopening. I have taken the last 3 months off social media. To be Transparent, I’ve been dealing with some health issues personally, as well as having to step back in & be a caregiver for my father who had a major setback which is occupying the majority of my time.
Survived massive snow storms that had us snowed (i’ll show a pic in stories! I couldn’t get into the barn for weeks!) & now mix in the tariffs, re-looking at the lineup since some of our beloved lines I’ve been carrying since 2016 are affected not to mention wholesale is definitely not what it used to be.
I was hoping to be open in April, but that is not going to happen. As you can see from some of these pictures, we were really hit hard with this ice storm.
We have been without power since Saturday & now its saying maybe the weekend or into next week. My beautiful property is mangled.

These little pictures show just a fraction of the mess & do not do the destruction justice. It feels like a ice tornado ripped through my property. There is not 1 inch of our property that has not been affected. I am heartbroken at the damage & the amount of hundred year-old plus trees that are no more.

We have had damage to our roof & to a car thankfully the barn & studio are OK. We just lost a lot of beautiful trees but the plus side is we will be ok for firewood this year 🙌🏻.
Clean up is going to take a while so I hope to be open in the warmer months & just continue to do this as a seasonal side gig.
I appreciate the patience for those of you that have reached out about reopening & If was going to be carrying certain items. All I can say is just stay tuned for some decisions. I’m going to be logging back off of social media for a bit to get our lives back on track lol.
Brock Township is still under a state of emergency so if you are local to me, please take care and stay warm. I know that there are lots of resources around to help those that are still without power.

The retail landscape is ever shifting & becoming more & more challenging so the fact that you choose to shop here makes a world of difference to my small business. Words cannot express my gratitude!

It’s hard to believe the season is coming to an end & I’m packing up the barn till Spring. I love this space SO MUCH & when you take the drive for a visit, it truly makes me so unbelievably happy 🤍
Getting to share this lil rustic space with you is a dream.
