That's it! I felt this 1800's Pine Harvest Table needed another coat of sealer, as it just wasn't smooth enough. So it's now complete, and is now FOR SALE, and will be dry enough this week, to purchase.

Was on this Large Primitive Cupboard today. The complete unit now has been completely sanded inside, which it really needed. The exterior, I removed most of the over spray of paint that was on it. Probably dates back when they painted either the floor or ceiling of the farmhouse back in the day. One door hung and not binding, and even the original cast latch on the back now operates and keeps the door locked. Last and most importantly, the 2 back boards that were missing, have now been replaced with a antique pine boards. This is so much better. It's coming along, but still more work to be done, before it heads out onto the store floor.

The second coat of sealer after another light sanding, and this 1800's Pine Table is definitely getting closer. Will see...

I was back on this real 1800's Pine 2 Board Harvest Table today. A final sanding and a thorough washing allowed me to get the first coat of sealer applied. Hopefully everything dries well, as with well over 100 years of use, ya never know what has penetrated the wood, hence the many washing and sandings.

Just when you think the store is looking it fullest, this happens. Closed today, but in the last hour, a customer came in looking for antique furniture for their new home. He told us we had some of the nicest pieces he'd seen in a long time, and wasn't leaving without making these purchases. So, tomorrow we have to get back on the road, and track down more items for the store, and for winter refinishing. Wow, is all we can say, but very grateful for their purchases. ALL SOLD!

Now that we've got most of the picked projects delt with, but still a few to deal with, it's finally time to start this absolute fabulous 1 piece 1860's 1870's Pine Farmhouse Cupboard. It came originally from a Farmhouse at the the north end of Brampton over 35 years ago, that was sold, and torn down for development. Sad yes, but at least the gentleman I purchased it from, who actually knew the people, was able to own it all these years, and best of all saved it. It will need some items replaced, but when complete, it should be one hell of an incredible piece. This one will take some time, but we are definitely looking forward to working on it, and seeing the final results. Paul Emile Badeau this would be an amazing piece for you're home.😁🇺🇲

Not bad for a one day turn around. We finished this Antique Mahogany Entrance Table today, and we definitely like the way it has turned out. The black gives it a different look, and by getting rid of some of the scalloped shapes, it looks so much better. Once completely dry, it will then see a coat of bee's wax, which will give it a super nice look. Ready for next weekend in the store.
