Morton Muskoka Chairs Custom Woodworking, and Laser Engraving. Reach me (Thomas) at [email protected] In 2012 I built my first Muskoka Chair.

I made the chair as a gift for my father, so I wanted it to be unique and one of a kind. The end result was my "Muskoka Loveseat"
I have brought this desire to innovate and customize into each new piece that comes out of my Huntsville, Ontario workshop. If you are looking for your own unique piece of Muskoka, or if you are simply interested in my work, please send me a message. I look forward to helping make your vision a reality. Indoor or outdoor, home or cottage, Morton Muskoka Chairs offers many furniture and decorative creations and I'm not deterred by a little challenge! Don't be afraid to make requests! Each piece that leaves my workshop is unique and I love the challenge of incorporating your ideas and designs into my work. Cedar Construction
Compared to any other type of wood cedar will last much longer outdoors. If it is refinished every few years it can look like new for decades. If it is left to the elements it will slowly turn grey, but stay solid for years. Other woods like pine may be cheaper, but they won't last in the sun and rain like cedar. Recently, chairs made of recycled plastic have become popular. They are a great choice if you are looking for colour or you want to avoid maintenance. However, plastic chairs do tend to fade over time, they are also extraordinarily heavy and available in limited designs.

Being a small business is wild. Some days you're covered in sweat and sawdust cleaning up the shop. Some days a Korean TV show comes to visit and to help build a Muskoka Chair.
