Two tone colour match.

Sanded the stairs down to raw. In this case, it was white oak.
The first step was to apply the Tover Belle Epoque water based stain. That is a fast dry stain and was dry in couple hours.
The next phase is to apply the finish. Tover L’Olio 100% is a mono coat type oil finish. It is a pigmented finish and in this case, I mixed the White and the Honey colours to best match the existing floor.
This process can all be done on the same day.
It order to finish a stair case that needs to keep open, we finish every other tread a spread the process over a couple days.
