Clean and perform preparation of job sites including setting up fencing of the job sites
Build and/or assemble commercial window and door frames. Basic framing, including ,doors, and windows
Assisting the lead to Install garage doors, mirrors, showers ,commercial and residential windows & doors.
Measure and cut material
Basic equipment operation
Handle and transport job materials to the work areas
Operate hand and power tools
Provide assistance to lead technicians
All other labour duties as required and assigned by supervisor
Requirements
3 years of experience in the commercial and/or residential construction industry preferred
Excellent attitude, communication and teamwork skills, flexible, and open to change
Customer oriented
Ability to determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job
An understanding of safe work practices
The strength, stamina, and ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift and carry items weighing in excess of 50 to 75 pounds. Good muscular coordination, agility and balance
A basic understanding of drawings
Working Conditions
Outdoor conditions that may include heat, dust, cold, rain, and noise
Physically strenuous work
Working at heights
Project Locations include Remote Locations, Winnipeg and around , Brandon, SK
