Dear Friends
This June will mark the 30th year of business for Lasting Image. We opened our doors in 1996 – three young people, nervously wanting to make something of our own.
We have been just the three of us – Duane, Marlene and Sandra, for all of these years, framing the memories and art of the people of Westman. During this time we have laughed and cried with our clients. We’ve heard your amazing stories, learned so much, faced many challenges and become not only acquaintances, but also friends with so many of you.
We have always been so happy to be a part of people’s homes, memories and trust. We know that when you bring something precious to us, how important it is to you and we have always tried to treat each piece brought to us with the same care we would with our own special belongings.
A lot can happen in 30 years. Weddings, babies, graduations, sickness, etc, but the one thing that has remained the same for us is our place in this community, and we have you to thank for that.
It has come time for us to make some changes, and our hope was to sell the business to someone who would love it the way we do and would carry it on. We are very happy to announce that we have sold the store to Dustin Glaseman.
Dustin is a local wildlife photographer and runs his business “The Dusty Unknown”. He shows great attention to detail, and being an artist himself, he has a keen eye and a big interest in creative work. We are excited to have the business carry on with Dustin, who has so many great ideas and a vision for greater things to come! He has already begun working with us to learn all our tips and tricks!
Marlene and Sandra will be retiring, and Duane will stay on for some time to share his expertise and guidance, so you may still see a familiar face when you come in.
Dustin will take possession on July 1, and we are planning to have a seamless transition, and it will be business as usual throughout.
Once again, we would like to thank all of our clients for supporting us over the years. The hardest part for us will be not seeing all the familiar faces we’ve come to care for.
It truly has been our pleasure.
Duane, Marlene & Sandra
