Last night dinner was a special treat to have spaghetti with meatballs and salad, cooked by ward 1 election candidate Darryl Casey and his team, members of the rotary. Thank you for spreading the love and taking care of our community ! Together we can see everyone fed !

A big shout out to Affix Label & Print Inc. for asking “How can we help” at the right moment. The Blessing Centre is rescuing 1000’s of pounds of food every week from all over the city. That rescued food needs to be inspected and sorted, washed and repackaged, and labelled first in, first out.
It’s so important to manage resources and be good stewards of our City’s generosity.
Clear labelling is so important. What it is, where is came from, and the date it arrived.
The team at Affix called and asked to be a part of what we are doing. They printed us a thousand labels that can be stuck to packages to be stored in our freezers and fridges and where the printing won’t rub off.
Perfect timing.
We love local businesses helping out where they can. Making a difference.
Kindness can change a city.
