I just know some of you have been walking around lately saying to yourself "Self, I need a sign! Please, someone give me a sign!" ... well I can't GIVE these to you, but have you considered buying a sign? It is 2026 after all, and if you think the Universe is just going to GIVE you a sign then... hoo boy, I don't think you've been paying attention. Or maybe the Universe has been nicer to you this year than it has been to me? Me, I gotta put down the bucks for signs. And who said a sign means less if you have to get it for yourself? I've been talking myself into and out of taking that cute little boat home for days now. I pick it up, I put it down. I stare at it. I pick it up again, and put it down again. Really, I'm just giving it the authentic boat experience. I am waves. But I do LOVE me some colour, so nobody buy that boat, okay? I need to stare at it for, like, a couple more hours total. Not sequentially, of course. Boat Gazing is not my preferred meditation form. But any of these other little colourful gems you can totally take home. That little lighthouse? Perfection. The boat hasn't crashed into it even once. Good job, lighthouse. 👏

General good guy and new addition to my list of favorite humans on the planet, Timothy was kind enough to ask us to help find new homes for the lovely pieces his mother, Ms. Hoey collected with a keen eye and many years of dedicated treasure hunting. She taught Home Economics at Oak Bay High School for nearly thirty years, and was a favorite of students and parents alike. A testament to her good taste, some of these pieces have already found good homes! But we'll be posting individual pieces with details over the days to come.
