Unfortunately, due to illness, we are not going to be able to go to The Common Thread Show in Orleans this weekend. We wish all the vendors and organizers a most successful weekend. We are so disappointed to be missing this show. If you are in the area be sure to stop in to see the show and do a little shopping.

3 months until stash-It! 2026. How time flies. It sounds far off but if you are making items for the event it may not be that long at all. I have listed some of the benefits of attending a small fiber festival. If you have more, please add them in the comments.

It’s 7:20 am and the car is packed! We’re heading to Kanata for our last trunk show of the season. Tuesday we were in Kemptville to do our wool appliqué presentation and today is our “Taking our Hobby to a Business” trunk show. We’ve got lots of our patterns to sell as well as wool kits and hand dyed wools!!

We have been working on new samples for our booth. This lovely Buttermilk Basin kit will be available in our booth at the Common Thread Show in Orleans, June 12 and 13.

All these pop ups, workshops and trunk shows have cleaned us out of hand dyed wool bundles!! Christine is making sure that we have lots more for our next events!! Hand dyed wools are the BEST 🥰😍😍

The car is packed and we are almost ready to hit the road again. Where too? The Lanark Quilters Guild in Perth. Looking forward to being their Shop of the Month and presenting our wool appliqué trunk show.

We’re all set up and teaching a wool appliqué class with some lovely ladies from the Heritage Quilters Guild. Tonight we’ll present our “The Beauty of Wool Appliqué” trunk to the guild. So thankful for being invited 💕
