Canada’s census is due tomorrow. 👀

If you haven’t filled out the 2026 census yet, the deadline is May 12. Households across Canada were mailed a unique 16-digit access code to complete it online, and yes, filling it out is mandatory.

Ignoring it or knowingly giving false information could lead to a fine of up to $500, though Statistics Canada says enforcement would only come after follow-ups by mail, phone, in-person visits, and a final warning.
