Today was spa day!! I finally got around to getting a proper haircut. Remi had a long overdue bath and brush. Even the car got some love - clean inside and out plus an oil change.

Now to relax for the rest of the day 😊

Kind of regret staying up past my bedtime last night, but when your new apartment comes with a front row seat to the Canada Day fireworks you stay up and watch them. This is the first time I’ve seen a fireworks display in a very long time because I don’t like fighting the crowds to get in and out. This was perfect.

Couple other photos from the last week as well. Both cats are thoroughly enjoying the built in cat tree above the fridge lol Started putting up pictures/framed stitching. Put up wallpaper and painted my bedroom. It’s all coming together nicely and starting to feel like home.

Just got back from an amazing weekend with some of my stitchy friends. It was so much fun - this retreat is always a blast and being able to crash with was the cherry on top.

Only worked on a few projects but I finished all my Quirky Quakers for my land quilt - can’t wait to put it together.

Also started Pigeon and Puddle and the freebie from .christine.designs with my table mates on the last day.

Looking forward to next year already.

Life update - as promised. A new chapter has begun. Everyone is settling in well - still lots to do before it will officially feel like home, but lots of progress has been made…there are still so many boxes to unpack.

The furry ones are settling in well - tons of new things to look at and get into, but everyone is doing well.

I have found (most) of my shipping supplies so any pending orders should be dropped at the post office by Friday. I also hope to have the Floral Reef bags posted by the end of the weekend so stay tuned for the next shop update.

Due to some upcoming life changes the release of the Tula Pink Floral Reef bags will be delayed. I have everything sewn ...

Due to some upcoming life changes the release of the Tula Pink Floral Reef bags will be delayed. I have everything sewn and almost ready to go but I have to focus my time on what’s next so I won’t have time to do a shop update.

I hope to have these listed by late next week if all goes well. Wish me good luck on this next chapter - I will post soon about the changes.
