My two entries into the NB Woodcarving Competition and Sale did amazingly well this year. In the Novice division, the fish on the left, won 1st in the Fish Class, 3rd Best in Show, and humbled to have been selected as the Purchase Award as well ☺️. My second entry, “In Quiet Waters” won 2nd Best In the Fish class, as well it recieved the Theme Award - “Pairs”. This year had amazing talent on display, and I really feel honoured.

Put the last coat of clear on these Atlantic Salmon Kelt reproductions. 45” and 34.5” fish were landed together by father/son. The two fish can easily be removed from the mounts so they can be handled as per the request. Time for a new project :)
