Already love your home’s style but feel like it’s missing that “designer finish”? It’s rarely about buying new furniture—it’s usually about the micro-adjustments.

Here are 5 quick tweaks to elevate a room instantly:

1. High-Low Textures: If your sofa is crisp and tailored, pair it with a weathered wood table or a worn ceramic vessel. High contrast creates depth.

2. Go Bigger, Buy Less: Too many small decor pieces create visual noise. Swap three small items on a surface for one bold, oversized vase or sculpture.

3. Lower Your Art: A common mistake is hanging art too high. Center your pieces around 57–60 inches from the floor (or 6–8 inches above furniture) so they feel grounded.

4. The 3-Point Light Rule: Turn off the main ceiling light. Combine an eye-level floor lamp, a table lamp, and low ambient lighting (like a picture light or candle) for immediate mood.

5. Contain the Little Things: Keys, matches, and remotes aren’t ugly if they’re collected. Place them on a marble tray or in a shallow vintage bowl to turn clutter into a curated vignette.
