If you’ve been in the store lately you may have noticed a new addition to our Canadian wool wall!! 🎉🐑
We met Alice Alishka: Canadian Wool at Knit City Canada and were super excited when they asked if we’d take their yarn back to the shop with us. All the bases are spun and dyed in Canada, and the Homestead line is actually made from 100% Canadian wool, too.

Come give it a squish - we’ve got 3 bases: Croft (fi*****ng), Homestead (Aran) and Thicket (lace weight suri).

Socktober is back and in full swing! You folks know the drill - bring us new, unworn commercially made socks all month long. Every pair you bring gets you one entry into our draw for a STASHy sock-themed gift basket, valued at over $300! We’ll distribute the socks to local shelters, non profits, and mutual aid groups in need. ❤️

This year we’re competing against Paula - Baaad Anna’s Yarn Store, Paula & Rebecca, and Little Red Mitten Yarn Store to see who can collect the most socks to distribute. Help us keep our title of socktober supreme champions (I made that up right now) and collect the most socks!

It looks like this year will be the year we officially break 10,000 pairs distributed across Canada. ❤️

In addition to the Colour of the Month, we also have a lovely fresh restock of Socknado! This yarn is a fan fave with local roots, dyed right here in Calgary (about a 10 min drive from STASH!) and a fantastic range of colours.

Get in quick though- there's only a few left of some of these already!
