Luxury doesn't have to mean a huge bathroom. Sometimes, it's the thoughtful details that transform an everyday routine into a moment of relaxation:

πŸ› A deep soaker tub
πŸͺ΅ Natural materials
πŸ’‘ Warm, layered lighting
🎨 Original artwork
🌿 Views to nature
πŸ“š Generous ledges for your favourite book, candle, or glass of w**e

Together, these elements create a space that feels calm and restorative.

What would make your dream bathroom complete? πŸ‘‡ πŸ’¬

Healing doesn't only happen in treatment rooms. 🌿

Sometimes it happens in the kitchen. 🍽

🍳 A place where families cook together.
πŸ₯˜ Where culture is shared through food.
πŸ‘ Where community gathers.
🀝 Where confidence is rebuilt through everyday routines.

In this recovery center design, bringing people together, fostering belonging, and storytelling were priorities for the kitchen, intentionally connected to the Indigenous art gallery and healing room.

Every material was thoughtfully selected for durability, sustainability, and cultural relevance, creating a space designed to serve generations to come.🀍

Because the most meaningful spaces don't just support treatment.

They make healing part of everyday life. ✨

Every decision should have a purpose.

The way people move through a space. How they interact with materials.

Layout, lighting, colour, and texture are all elements that shape how someone feels in a space.

So whether we're designing a pharmacy, clinic, office, or home, our goal is always the same: to create environments where people feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

Why two-toned cabinetry?
✨ To define each zone with intention.
✨ To let light interact differently across each material.
✨ To create contrast through texture, not clutter.

Flat-panel doors and integrated knife-edge pulls reinforce the quiet simplicity of Scandinavian design.

Storage was a priority, so we designed custom millwork that extends beyond standard cabinet heights, maximizing every inch of the kitchen while keeping everyday essentials tucked away.

The best kitchens don’t ask families to adapt.
They adapt to the family.

Every project starts the same way.

A vision.
A conversation.
A sketch.

Then one day, you're standing inside it.

Seeing come to life in Marda Loop, Calgary, and hearing how much the clients and staff love the space is the most rewarding part of the process.

Thank you for trusting Giono Studio to bring your vision to life. 🀍

Reception areas can quickly become congested, and even claustrophobic. So how can we avoid that in design?

In one of the largest medical reception areas we've ever designed, the island was laid out to support high patient volumes without compromising the experience.

The custom grid partition creates separation and privacy where it's needed, while allowing daylight to flow through the clinic and preserve the open, intuitive circulation path.

Designed for movement. Designed for people. That’s Giono Studio.

Every line has a purpose...

🌊 Inspired by the fluid movement of water, these curved forms soften transitions between spaces and encourage natural movement.

Research in environmental psychology suggests people generally perceive curved forms as more pleasant and approachable than sharp, angular ones.

Applying these principles, we've created a healthcare space that prioritizes both function and the human experience.

βš› Science informs the design.
🌿 Nature inspires it.

Staff rooms should be as restorative as they are functional.

Healthcare professionals spend their days caring for others. Their break spaces should help them recharge.

Warm greens, natural wood, soft textures, and thoughtfully selected artwork create a calmer environment that encourages staff to slow down, reset, and return feeling more refreshed.

Wellness design shouldn't stop at the patient.

The spaces that support your team deserve just as much intention as the spaces that serve your patients.

The best details often go unnoticed... πŸ‘€

In this residential renovation, the repetition of materials, tones, and shapes creates a quiet continuity from one space to the next.

Each room speaks to the other, allowing the entire home to feel cohesive, grounded, and intentional.

Great design is about connecting the isolated moments.

And yes… we believe lamps belong in kitchens.

How can a single natural material shape an entire experience?

For this retail concept, linen became the architectural language of the space.

Rather than layering unrelated finishes throughout the store, linen became part of every touchpoint:

✨ Suspended across the ceiling, filtering light throughout the space.
✨ Framing the retail displays as soft linen curtains.
✨ Integrated into the fitting room doors.
✨ Reflected in the clothing and bedding themselves.

When a concept is carried through every detail, a space feels intentional without needing to explain why.

‼️ That's the difference between selecting finishes and designing an experience people can feel.
