Are you sure you don’t want to play designer yourself?
It’s great when Clients have a vision and direction when starting projects. We love the collaboration and always want them to be heard, involved and give input.
What becomes hard is when we aren’t involved right to the construction phase and they take short cuts, alter and substitute new ideas that were never part of the original design and change a look because they want more of a detail that was to be used sparingly. Then, my friends it’s no longer our design or our expertise that guides that project and it changes it entirely.
We understand costs and you want to be happy but are those last minute costs going to better your end results or really not make a difference to impact that needed renovation in the end?????
Let me know your thoughts, because sometimes our association to a project reflects poorly on our reputation and no one really knows how it went down, most especially the design team involved. 😞
