That afternoon light hitting in all the right places.

I’m sad to see the long days slip away, but I am so grateful to welcome back in some routine and structure to my days.

And, as always, I love that the cooler months bring in the invitation to play with moodier florals; they are some of my favourites.

Come sit by my garden.

The first and last light of the day are always the most magical.

The most awe inspiring.

The most humbling.

I am so grateful the dahlias have finally arrived. Elegant they are, indeed!

More of this please!✨

Happy July friends. What a wild few weeks it has been.

I realize I didn’t give context to the video. Unfortunately, we have had a couple of unpaid bouquets the last few days, with last nights being very intentional, as I had a neighbor witness a group of three young girls grab them and run, eventually leaving my bucket down the street.

Prior to that, I very much try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt that they have forgotten as I know life can be busy. It’s not really even the money (well it kind of is 😂), it’s the disrespect- a lot of love and hard work goes into making flowers happen!

I appreciate everyone who purchases flowers from me, and recommends me to people they know. I love doing the honour stand and I hope I can get it back out and allow people to grab and go. As cliched as it sounds, buying local lets my daughter dance and my son to play soccer! So, the ripple effect effect is huge. Anyway, that was a novel all to say, thanks again and please honour the honour system!

Summer, and your dreamy pastel evenings, please stay a little longer ✨
