Winter weather is still here and market season is literally 3 weeks away! While it snows outside we are busy inside getting our stock built up and finishing the small details for the Leduc Farmers Market. ❄️

Yes, it’s official, we have rebranded! We will no longer be West Coast Prairie Candle Co., we are now Farmhouse Firefly 💕

Why did we rebrand?

We are still now offering a small selection of soap, bubble bath, bath salts, and room sprays to complement our established candle selection. With the additional of these products, we felt that a new name would be necessary. Farmhouse Firefly was born in July 2025.

Our website is almost complete, and once it’s available, you will be the first to know 🙂. Our candles have been organized into collections by their scent profiles, and we have some new scents that we’ve been working on.

We have also chosen not to participate in any markets until May. We chose to do this because we want to take this opportunity to really focus on the season ahead, build up our stock, and have the time to have everything prepared and not feel rushed or overwhelmed.

We will be at the Leduc Farmers Market in May until September, and we are beyond excited to be able to share these new products with you, and are looking forward to seeing your beautiful smiling faces.

Hi Everyone! The Leduc Farmers Market 2026 season opening day will be Thursday, May 14 starting at 10 AM going until 1:30 PM in the east parking lot of the Leduc Recreation Centre.

Happy Family Day!

Hello everyone,

I have had a slight hiccup heading into February.
I had emergency surgery February 1st, for acute appendicitis. Oh boy, it was not pleasant but I am so grateful that horrible pain is behind me, and I am so thankful to be back at home resting comfortably. I have to take it easy for the next 4-6 weeks so my body can recover and heal.
We are still working on the website which should be up and running soon. And we have been working on perfecting some new scents for our spring and summer collection that are we are sure you will love! Thank you for your patience and support as we continue with our rebranding ☺️

Happy New Year from our frosty home. 2026 is going to be filled with lots of excitement! We are rebranding and getting a website! This is very exciting, so stay tuned..
