Using my "Arctic Embrace" yarn (Qiviut, Angora, Rambouillet, Yak blend) to make something so magical that winter is almost inviting.

I've been working on this balaclava for a while... making it up as I go since I couldn't find a pattern I liked. The face/neck covering is 100% English Angora wool, the hood is 50/50% English Angora/Rambouillet wool. Special features on this balaclava are: magnetic snaps down the back of the neck to allow the mask/neck portion to be either close to the skin, or open like a cowl, and two draw strings (one in the hood, the other in the mask) to allow open or snug fits...adjustable for the weather conditions while still fueling an adventurous imagination!! .. now all I need is a really cold, really stormy day to be able to wear it!! Finished it just in time... haha. Not really.

Look at all this cuteness!
EA on the left, GA on the right -- how I love my babies!
We sheared Eve... kinda surprised to see that pearl white under all that grey!
Kids had fun taking pictures of aja and muffin at a muffin.

4 week old German Angora kit, full of life and curiosity! She had to investigate the attention her adopted English Angora mom getting. Mary, GA, was a first-time mom. She was doing okay, but EA, Azadeh, took to the mothering thing easier, so Azadeh fostered a nestbox full of kits... of course I watched closely to ensure they were all thriving, and moved kits around as needed for every bunnies best quality of life - moms included!
I just love my rabbits so much!!!!
