Every year my friend tells me surprise me for her cake design. This year I was inspired by her recent traditional chinese photoshoot. The cake flavour is her favorite that she requests every year chocolate espresso. The portrait is hand painted and the flowers on top are made from flexible sugar paste. 🌸

Happy Wedding 🎉🎊✨ we couldn't attend in person so we sent along this gift to our friends.

I cast the cookie in resin. Some of the colours got a bit altered cause I didn't let it dry long enough 🙃 but it still looked good. 🤗 Always learning something new at the wrong time 😂

Throwback to fall colours 🙌🏼🍁

Snow is falling and we're in the final month of the year. I've delayed so many posts aha so get ready. This was a wedding cake I did in the end of October. The flowers and leaves are hand sculpted from flexible gum paste.

The cakes are vanilla on the bottom and chocolate on top with Swiss meringue vanilla buttercream and vanilla pastry cream/chocolate ganache between the layers. A simple but elegant cake design. ✨
