Barefoot Blooms designs floral arrangements using their own organically grown fresh, seasonal flowers- with a hint of pizzazz - for your wedding, special event, holiday or everyday enjoyment. In addition to the vast array of flowers and plants available in their gardens from April through December, the designers at Barefoot Blooms also draw on their knowledge of native wild plants to incorporate l

ong-lasting flowers from the natural wild spaces that surround their gardens. Through the winter, Barefoot Blooms integrates fresh greenery and dried flowers from the previous growing season to create unique floral arrangements that continue to adhere to their promise to use local, organic flowers when creating masterful floral designs unique to your special occasion.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2026

Barefoot Blooms is offering its first ever Flower Bar hosted at Cara Sawka's Shore Hall Studio and Gallery (4801 HWY 215, Summerville). A wide selection of flowers and greenery picked fresh from Barefoot Blooms' gardens will be available to create your own bouquet! Following your bouquet-making, you are invited to visit and explore the gardens from where the flowers were picked. There will be lots of wonderful photo opportunities!
Be sure to visit the cafe at The Flying Apron while in Summerville!

What an outing! All here in Summerville, Nova Scotia!
Gorgeous blooms, beautiful bouquets, tasty pastries and warm coffee...and a garden walk!

Flower varieties will be be individually priced. Minimum $15 bouquet required.

Proceeds will be shared with healtht food programs at Dr Arthur Hines School, our local elementary school.

Please register for a Bouquet Bar time slot.
Denise will confirm your time with you. If a time slot is full, you will also be notified and given the opportunity to select a another time slot OR be placed on a wait list.
