Who says you need to go to a fancy restaurant to enjoy fancy food? 😍🍽️

Sometimes you just have to spoil yourself right in your own kitchen, and that’s exactly what I did! ❤️

I made these absolutely DELICIOUS crostini with creamy goat cheese, homemade pancetta & apple jam, finished with a strawberry balsamic glaze! 🍎🍓

The combination of sweet, savoury and creamy flavours was AMAZING! 🤤

And yes, I made these just for myself… because WHY NOT?! 😂

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! 🇨🇦🍁🦃❤️

Allyuh, look at this Thanksgiving spread! 😍🍽️

We’ve got roasted vegetables, curry goat 🐐, steamed cabbage, creamy potatoes, gravy, rice and peas, ham, mac & cheese, homemade stuffing, and a delicious homemade carrot cake for dessert! 🥕🍰

And of course, I had to put a little bit of EVERYTHING on my plate! 😂 Apparently, my eyes were MUCH bigger than my stomach because there was no way I was finishing all that food! 🤣🤣

There’s just something special about enjoying good food with the people we love. ❤️

🐄 Mother's Love 🐄
Kings County, Prince Edward Island

It was a grey, rainy day in PEI when my photography friends and I spotted a small herd of Highland cattle in a field. We pulled over, grabbed our cameras, and I'm so glad we did.

This little calf, still wet and fluffy, leaned in to nuzzle its mother, who stood patiently with her long horns and shaggy, rain-soaked coat. The muted sky and the rich red PEI soil make the warm coppery browns of their fur stand out.

It was a quiet, tender moment on a miserable day, and it's become one of my favourite shots.

Wonder where I get some of my cooking skills from? 👀❤️🍞

Well, take a look at my mom’s homemade bread!

She made these beautiful loaves this morning, and let me tell you… they turned out AMAZING! 😍 So soft, fluffy, and absolutely delicious with a little butter!

What makes this bread even more special is that my grandmother taught my mother how to make it. And one day, it’ll be my turn to learn and carry on that tradition. ❤️

Three generations, one family recipe, and a whole lot of love!

And stay tuned because Mom and I will eventually be getting into the kitchen together to share some traditional Acadian dishes, including râpure and pâté!

Today I’m taking a little moment outside the kitchen to celebrate someone so special to me—my firstborn, Cordell! Happy 30th birthday! 🎉❤️

Cordell, you’re the one who first made me a mom, and that will always hold such a special place in my heart. Watching you grow into the wonderful, amazing young man you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I hope you always know how proud I am of you and how deeply you are loved.

Thirty years of loving you, cheering you on, and being grateful that I get to be your mother. No matter how many birthdays come and go, you will always be my baby. 🥹❤️

As you enter this new decade, I wish you happiness, love, laughter, and so many reasons to feel proud of the life you’re building. I love you more than words could ever say.

Everyone, please help me wish my son Cordell a happy 30th birthday! 🎂🥳

The roti made it to the tawa… and the kitchen concert continues 😂🎶🫓

I promised we’d cook it together, so here we go! I oil my tawa first, add the roti, then brush on more oil. This is how I was taught, and I love how mine turns out ❤️

Look at that beautiful roti! I put a lot of love and pride into my food, and moments like this make me happy.

Now, I have TWO dablas and every intention of learning to use them to buss it up… but I’m still more comfortable clapping 🤣👏 Either way, I’m after those lovely flaky layers!

On a late summer night during COVID, the world was quiet and the sky over Victoria by the Sea was perfectly clear. I set up beside Wave Co. and captured this long exposure of the Milky Way glowing above the lighthouse.

The red lantern room and white tower stand out against a sky of purple, pink, and blue, with thousands of stars overhead. It's a piece of PEI that looks even better on a wall.

Trying to roll my roti, but the music keeps making it personal 😂💃🏽 Anyways… let’s roll out these loyas!

I start by flattening the edges with my hands, then it’s flip and roll, flip and roll to help get that round shape. I like mine nice and thin 🫓

Of course, another song comes on and suddenly I’m singing with a rolling pin in my hand 🤣 This is why I can never get anything done on time!

Next, I’m bringing you over to the tawa so we can cook it together ❤️
