After 26 beautiful, memory-filled years at 85 Water Street, it looks like Moonsnail will be looking for a new home downtown.

Our beloved building is going to be listed for sale soon, so we are putting our feelers out to find the perfect new spot to plant our roots.

While it’s definitely bittersweet to think about leaving, we are choosing to look at it as a fresh, exciting new chapter. We aren’t going far—our hearts are firmly set on staying right here in the downtown core!

Vacancy rates are low downtown- which is such a great thing- and it's proved challenging to find a suitable space.

What we are looking for:

• A street level space with character in downtown Charlottetown, on a main street, at least 1500 ft2.

• Enough room to house our retail shop and keep making our soap and other products on site 🧼.

• A welcoming vibe for our community and visitors ☀️

If you know of an available rental space, a building owner with a lead, or a hidden downtown gem that might fit us, we'd love to hear about it! ❤️

Please drop a comment below or send us a private message.

Thank you all for supporting us through every chapter of this journey. We can't wait to see whats in-store! 🌟

Today we honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡
We remember the children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities forever affected.

This day calls us to reflect, to listen, and to commit to reconciliation in action, not just words.

🧡 Every Child Matters 🧡

We encourage our community to learn, support, and uplift Indigenous voices here on PEI and across Canada 🧡

✨Our sister store Luna Eclectic Emporium is looking for a new manager! Stop in with your resume, they would love to meet you!✨

✨ WE’RE HIRING: STORE MANAGER ✨

For the first time in a long time, there is a rare opening to lead the team at Luna!

Our amazing, long-term manager is moving on to exciting new adventures, which means we are looking for a creative, organized, and people-loving Store Manager to join our small team here in Charlottetown. 🌊

If you love curated retail, independent boutique vibes, and connecting with our amazing community, this might be your perfect match.

This isn’t a rigid corporate gig—it’s a hands-on, collaborative role where you’ll help carry on the daily magic, energy, and customer experience of the shop.

What you’ll do:

-Lead and support our small, tight-knit floor team.

-Keep the shop looking beautiful, welcoming, and beautifully merchandised.

-Connect authentically with our customers and make them feel at home.

-Manage day-to-day shop flow, inventory tracking, and ordering.

-Work with the shop owner to select clothing and footwear seasonally, as well as involvement in all buying decisions.

Who you are:

An experienced leader with at least 1 year of retail management experience.

Passionate about style! Someone who genuinely enjoys clothing, footwear, and fashion, and loves helping customers find pieces they feel amazing in.

An excellent communicator, with a positive attitude.

Someone who thrives in a small business environment and loves independent retail.

Organized, proactive, and independent (you excel when running the show!).

Genuine, warm, and passionate about the Luna vibe and the island community.

What You’ll Get:

Pay: $20.00+ per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: A highly predictable, set weekly schedule (no last-minute corporate surprises). Weekend shifts occasionally, (but not every weekend!)

The Perks- paid breaks, an excellent employee discount, and a genuinely creative, warm, positive and beautiful work environment!

Think this is you? Or know the perfect person?

Pop into the shop with your resume and cover letter (best option!) or send an email over to [email protected] telling us a little bit about yourself and why you love Luna.

We can’t wait to meet you! ✨
