How is it September already? This year is flying by.

Just a quick note to our lovely customers that we will be open regular business hours for Monday, September 7th, Labour Day.

We had several requests to feature some of our favourite Canadian designers. We’re starting out with Jennifer Lee McLarty because we love her unconventional approach to design, her tendency to mix cables, lace, and colourwork, her cheerful colour choices, and the fact that knitting her patterns are just plain old good fun! Pictured here is Botwood … a Stepaside styled cardi knit in our Selkirk Worsted. We think it would be beautiful in just about any colour. What colours would you knit it in?

We are totally swooning over these sweet fingerless mitts by Manon Drolet 💗 The Overcast Fingerless Mitts call for either a DK weight yarn or a fi*****ng held with a Laceweight. It is Gold Cup Parade day here in PEI. We are open our usual hours of 10AM-5PM. Why not stop by Belfast to browse some of our woolly goodies and then pop by Country Taste Kitchen & Bakery for a coffee and a nice treat? Take a walk along the shore at Point Prim and visit the lighthouse? There is lots to see and do in beautiful Belfast!
