Good Morning, Argyle Shore! 🌧️🍞

I’ve been listening to the rain pounding on the rooftop this morning, but a little rain doesn’t stop the bread from baking! The Bake Shed will be open this morning at 9 AM, stocked with fresh-baked sourdough loaves and lots of goodies for your weekend treat.

Don’t let the rain stop you from grabbing your favourites! You’ll be covered and dry inside the shed while you browse all the delicious goodies. ☔️😊

Happy Saturday, everyone! ☀️

It’s looking like another busy weekend here on the island, so I’ve filled the bake shed with lots of extra goodies. Hopefully there’s enough for everyone to grab their favorites!

This weekends lineup:

🌰🍫 Nutella Sourdough – if you love Nutella, this one’s for you!

🪴 Havarti Dill Sourdough – made with fresh dill picked right from my garden. I’ve been looking forward to making these all season!

🍞 Original Sourdough – the classic loaf that never goes out of style.

🌶️ Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough – always a customer favorite.

🧀 Buttery Cheddar Cheese Scones – flaky, buttery, and full of cheesy goodness.

Introducing a sourdough flavour that briefly made an appearance in our lineup last season — the “Everything Seasoning” Sourdough Loaf! 🥯🍞

Inspired by the classic everything bagel, this artisan sourdough is packed with all the savory flavours you know and love: garlic, onion, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and a touch of salt. The result is a beautifully crusty loaf with a bold, savory flavour that’s perfect toasted, for sandwiches, or simply enjoyed with butter.

We’re excited to welcome this flavour back to the lineup!

The bake shed will be full with all your favourites today.

We’re still waiting for summer to make its grand entrance! While all this rain has been fantastic for the gardens, it’s definitely put a damper on some of our favourite summer activities. ☀️

The bake shed is stocked and ready for you today with all your favourites! You’ll find our classic sourdough flavours, delicious cheddar cheese scones, refreshing lemon blueberry scones, and a selection of fresh cookies. This week’s featured cookie is the S’more cookie — a perfect treat to brighten a rainy day. 🍪

Good Morning Friends, What an amazing feeling it is to share that A Touch Of Dutch Bakery is opening its doors this Saturday, June 6th, for another incredible season! We've got some exciting new additions to our lineup, alongside the favorites you've grown to love. This season, I'm planning to bake our signature Sourdough bread in two fresh batches, the first one ready at 9 AM, and the second one hot on its heels. I'll make sure you're the first to know when the bread is ready. My dream is for every one of you to experience the joy of our freshly baked bread. We'll be open 3-4 days a week; keep an eye out for the updates on daily schedules. Preparing for this season has been a dream come true, from renovating the shed to creating new recipes and nurturing the garden and greenhouse. I'm excited to serve you all with dedication and love this summer. -Stefanie

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all had a great winter!

Things have been busy behind the scenes over here, and I’ve been loving every minute of it! I’ve been testing recipes, finishing up the greenhouse, growing seeds and transplanting plants, and making a few changes inside the shed to help things flow a little better while you browse for goodies.

I’m hoping to have the “Touch of Dutch” Bake Shed open by the beginning of June!

I’m looking forward to serving you all this summer and can’t wait to welcome you back. Keep your eyes open for updates about opening weekend!

✨Hello everyone! What an incredible season it's been! I'm blown away by the support for "The Sour Dough Lady."

When I started this journey, I hoped to sell a few loaves and share my passion for baking. Summer turned out to be a whirlwind of baking, prepping, and of course spending time with my five kids. They'd often ask about my latest creations, and anxiously wait for me to return from my morning drop-offs at the shed. We would enjoy beach days and bike rides as a family on my bucket bike, and tour the many dirt roads nearby on our adventures throughout the summer.

As the season winds down, I've decided to focus on a personal family matter and take a winter break. Don't worry, I'll be back in the spring, ready to bake and share more treats with you all!

Thank you for making The Touch Of Dutch Bakery a success - I am so grateful for your support!

That being said I'll have the shed open this last weekend with bread & some baking.
