As early as I can remember, going to the cottage was a thrill. Having walked the beach my whole life I have seen many hundreds of pieces of driftwood. A million Rocks My first memories of the unusual wood was gathering it to be used as firewood. Not really giving it a second thought, I enjoyed collecting it to be burned. During the summer months that is was where we were all summer. On the beach during the day and on the beach at night playing flashlight tag gathered around a fire telling spooky stories, roasting marshmallows, and the ever popular, kissing boys....
