✨First creation of 2026✨This gold-themed cloche holds a male scarab beetle (Fornasinius fornasini) from 2001 and the wings of a female California dogface butterfly (Zerene eurydice) from 1979. The display also includes mini clear quartz towers from , bark covered in moss and lichen, dried goldenrod + spray chrysanthemum, and a tiny grove snail shell 💛

This display sold a while ago, but I wanted to share since it’s one of my favourite species! They’re fittingly called golden metallic stag beetles, or Cyclommatus metallifer.

The specimen here is male and measures just over 8cm. It’s housed in a repurposed wooden frame with gold accents that match its beautiful colouring!

The biggest cicada I’ve ever worked with 😍 Decided to go with a simple thrifted frame for this one so I don’t take away from its gorgeous markings.

Behold... the most expensive insect I’ve worked with so far. This is a female Brahmin moth, also known as an Owl moth. I was absolutely terrified to mess up while pinning this beauty.

The frame has a glass cover which isn’t in the photos. You can find this display at !

Say hello to the newest bug in the shop! This thrifted frame features a spread stag beetle with a floral twist! Nestled between the elytra, there is a pale pink dried flower. The specimen is mounted on a crushed velvet background and is ready to hang on your wall!
