And just like that, Southampton Market is done for another season. 💙

It’s funny how you start the summer thinking about markets as a place to set up your tent and sell your stuff… and somewhere along the way, it becomes so much more than that.

The other vendors become friends. You meet their families. You get to know the volunteers, the regular customers, the people who stop by every Friday just to say hi, and so many new faces along the way.

Then the season ends and you realize there are a whole bunch of people who became part of your weekly life that you might not see again until next summer.

Markets really do create their own little community, and I’m so grateful we got to be part of this one. 🐢💙

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, chatted with us, laughed with us, helped us out, or simply made Fridays in Southampton something to look forward to.

Okayyy the Lost in the Right Direction collection has officially grown. 😂

The original shirts are RESTOCKED, I’ve added black tees, AND because apparently we’re already creeping toward hoodie weather… I brought in hoodies in both colours too. 🙌

Let’s be honest…

Some markets are amazing. Others… I might sell one item, or even none at all. It happens.

But you know what keeps me packing the car for the next market?

The laughs.
The “Oh, I love that!”
The “That’s so cute!”
The people who stop just to smile at a design or tell me it made their day.

Those moments remind me that what I’m creating is connecting with people. Not everyone can buy something every time they stop by, and that’s okay.

Every kind word, every laugh, every share, every person who tells a friend about Turtlely Cool Designs means more than you probably know.

Of course I want the sales—that’s what keeps a small business going. But those little moments? They’re what keep me loading up the car and doing it all again next market.
