Next on my list of things to tackle…. Learning how to heat press. This thing has been sitting in the box unopened for over a year. I finally got it out of the box.

I’ll try an apron or dish towel, first.

I managed to secure a 22 pound bag of unbleached all purpose flour for $11. This is the flour I mainly use for feeding my starter, The Mighty Superdough, and making my sandwich bread.

As much as I appreciate a good workout, lifting that heavy bag was not really helpful for me as a neurospicy individual with executive function issues (my get up and go never really comes and it’s an act of pure non existent willpower to get up and do anything).

So accessibility is key. This is doable.

Going to make some vinyl to put on the jar.

I’m thinking “Sourdough Food”.

Snow squalls currently occurring.

What : Reduced visibilities in areas of heavy snow and blowing snow. 10 to 20 cm of snow; possibility of heavier accumulations locally.

When : Beginning this morning and continuing through tonight.

Additional information: Snow squalls off Lake Huron due to strong westerly winds gusting up to 60 km/h are ongoing. Visibilities are expected to be near zero at times due to snow and blowing snow. Winds will weaken tonight as a Ridge of high pressure moves into the Region, bringing an end to the snow squalls.

Snowfall amounts are expected to vary greatly across the Region as snow squalls bands are expected to shift considerably.

Road closures are possible. Consider postponing non-essential travel and outdoor activities until conditions improve.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.

This week’s makes!

It was my husband’s birthday on Sunday so I made him an Angel food cake (still my nemesis because it is dense as all get out!) with sticky icing. A lasagna from scratch.

Bookmarks for me and my friends, just need to make the tassels.

A loaf of bread.

A dishwasher magnet that tells us what dishes are in the dishwasher.

My first ever cricut design space project from scratch. Now to get over my fear of vinyl and using my heat press.

Some mild temps are melting some of the snow 🎉

Coffee in my sparkly cauldron mug.

Just fed Mighty Superdough to make pizza dough tomorrow.

Current read.

I misplaced my crochet hook case 😢 so until I find it, I can’t finish the emotional support plant that I’m making for a friend.
