🌷 **Want a beautiful spring garden? The planning starts now!**

Fall is the time to plant **spring-flowering bulbs**, and with a little planning you can create waves of colour that appear one after another as the season unfolds.

Think **Crocus and Snowdrops** kicking things off in late winter/early spring, followed by **Daffodils and Hyacinths**, then **Tulips and Alliums** carrying the show later into spring. 🌷

Here in the Fraser Valley, you can generally plant spring bulbs **from fall until the ground becomes too cold, frozen or waterlogged to work**. Choose a spot with good drainage, follow the planting depth on the package, and consider planting several varieties with different bloom times for months of successive colour.

We have **lots of bulbs in store right now**, from beautiful packaged varieties to bulk options that make it easy to plant generously.

A little digging this fall = a very happy garden next spring. 🌱

🌳 Fall is one of the best times to plant a tree!

With cooler temperatures and warm soil, newly planted trees can focus their energy on establishing strong roots rather than supporting lots of new growth—giving them a great foundation heading into next spring.

A few tips for planting success:

🌱 Dig your hole about twice as wide as the pot
🌱 Add soil amendments if appropriate for your site
🌱 Plant at the correct depth, at the root flare
🌱 Finish with a layer of mulch
🌱 Stake only when needed for stability
