We love to support local charities and local organizations! In August, we sponsored the food drive for the Fare Share Food Bank; in September, we’re sponsoring a lawn bowling tournament; and in October, we’re sponsoring Walk a Mile for Cornerstone. Shopping local supports local causes!

If you’re passing by the The Cobourg Lawn Bowling Club on Monday, stop by and watch a few ends! You could even bring your knitting and pull up a chair!

Fall yarns are making their way in. One of our first arrivals is Gemstone Merino Bulky from Estelle Yarns ! It is a hand-dyed intentionally thick/thin yarn that is incredibly soft and will work up quickly into cowls, hats, and other accessories!

I'm not sure yet how the new retaliatory tariffs will affect us; however, there's really no time like the present to stop shopping at American stores like Michael's and start supporting small local businesses! We have so many great "mom and pop" shops in Northumberland County. Please give them (and us) some love as our country defends itself against this latest trade war!
