May was full of little moments that made me stop and smile.
Some were big milestones, some were unexpected opportunities, and some were simply reminders of how lucky I am to do what I love.

From painting pets and seeing my puzzles on store shelves, to family time, marketplace finds, community projects, and winning an award I never saw coming, it was a month I'll always remember.

Sometimes the small wins are the ones worth celebrating the most. 💕

Here's to a wonderful May and an even better June.

From my hands to yours 🤍

This community has supported me through every season. From the people who believed in little kitchen-table creations years ago, to every order, share, comment, and kind word along the way.

So this felt important.

Half of these puzzles were generously donated by Villager Puzzles, and half came from my own pocket because I wanted to give a little piece back to the community that has given me so much.

These found their way to schools, nursing homes, the hospital, Community Living, Villa Minto, and other spaces where I hope they brought comfort, connection, and a few smiles along the way.

Creating has never just been about making things. It’s always been about people.

Thank you for supporting me all these years and allowing me to do things like this. 🤍

I’ve rewritten this caption more times than I’d like to admit because I honestly don’t know how to put this feeling into words.

Déco Véro received People’s Choice at the Cochrane Board of Trade Business Gala and I’m still trying to process it.

Of course I was excited. So incredibly grateful too. But right alongside that excitement was disbelief.

Because I was up against two incredible businesses I genuinely admire and I truly never thought I had a chance.

And if I’m being vulnerable, I think part of the reason this feels emotional is because when you’re the person behind a business, you see everything people don’t.

You see the mistakes.
The burnout.
The ideas that failed.
The self-doubt.
The surgeries, health challenges and hard seasons happening quietly in the background while life keeps moving.

You see all the things that make you question yourself.

So receiving something like People’s Choice feels emotional because for a moment, it feels like I’m seeing Déco Véro through other people’s eyes instead of my own.

And maybe that’s what I’m struggling to process.

Because when I hear People’s Choice, I don’t just think of an award.

I think of people. The people who placed an order when I was just starting. The people who shared my work. The people who followed along for years.

The people who supported me through seasons that had nothing to do with business at all.

The people who somehow saw something in me before I fully saw it in myself.

So thank you. Truly. 🤍

OMG.. Over 1000 puzzles have sold so far 🤯💜

Seeing my artwork on puzzles in stores across Canada still feels so surreal. Little me making things for fun never would've imagined this.

It’s honestly wild thinking my art is sitting on shelves and ending up on coffee tables, kitchen tables, and puzzle nights in homes I’ll probably never see.

To everyone who bought one, shared a post, tagged a friend, or supported my work in any way, thank you. I don't take a second of it for granted ❤️

Anyways… seeing my art casually out there in the wild across Canada is giving "wait… this is actually my life??" energy because what do you mean 1,000+ sold 😭🧩

Each province and territory was created slowly, by hand, adding pieces that felt familiar, meaningful, and real to me.
It’s not perfect and that’s the point.

Some details might be missing, some might not be exact… but every piece tells a story.
