Summer in my hand, fall behind me, winter falling all around.

This is why I make my birds. Alberta winters are long, so I tuck summer’s daisies into clear resin and the season stays put.

Shop the birds at the link in bio. Free shipping across Canada.

Someone helped himself to our apple tree, sat down like he owned the place, and didn’t even say thanks. 🐻🍎

So I made a bear who climbs but never touches the harvest. He’s tucked into clear resin with weathered wood, dried botanicals, tiny mushrooms, and two ladybugs keeping him company.

There’s only one of him, and he’s looking for a home. Find him through the link in my bio.

Would you share your apple tree with a bear?

They look like butterflies in daylight. Then you turn them on. 🦋

Both sets have LED lights poured right inside the resin of the large Butterfly, so the real flowers glow from within. One holds black eyed susans, the other holds four whole sunflowers with their dark seeded centres. There's a controller for gold, orange, twinkle, fading or colour changing, so they look different depending on the evening.

Also new this week, a full sunflower dried whole rather than pressed flat, set on black with gold leaf in a deep wood frame. Sunflowers are stubborn to preserve because the seeded centre holds moisture long after the petals are ready. This one came through perfectly.

All handmade in Cold Lake with flowers I foraged and dried myself. Free shipping across Canada.

Some weeks the studio just fills up. 🍂

The window frame is back. Four panes, each poured separately, with daisies, pansies, clover and meadow flowers inside, plus a dragonflies tucked among them. The last one sold before I could even tell anyone. These take weeks, so there is only ever one.

The new birds are holding lupine and sunflower, picked and dried here this summer.

All handmade in Cold Lake with real botanicals I foraged myself.

Free shipping across Canada.

Ever wondered what actually happens at a Dragonfly Treasures workshop?

This! Every piece here was made by someone who walked in, picked their flowers, shells and sparkle, and walked out a few hours later with something they created themselves.

Swipe through to see jewelry, keychains, bookmarks, window suncatchers and our new mini picture frame magnets, all filled with real botanicals from the boreal forest and treasures from the shore.

No two pieces are ever the same, and that's the best part.
